ABOUT TIM

Tim is a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist by profession, and unapologetically a Christian by choice.  He is CEO of Breakthrough Leadership Consulting; past board member of the National Association of Social Workers, Virginia chapter; adjunct professor, Saint Leo University and the author of "Deficient Salvation In a Surplus Society."

Professionally, he is credentialed in the State of New York as a Certified Social Worker (CSW), and holds the highest national certification for social workers as a Board Certified Diplomat (BCD) in clinical social work.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Concordia College, Bronxville, New York and Master’s of Science from Ivy-League Columbia University, New York.  Among his honors, he holds the national distinction of “All-American Scholar,” and has received Iiterally thousands of dollars for his academic excellence.

He is committed to community development and promulgating an understanding of mental health concerns and services as a force for social change.  Moreover, he is a talented leader, outstanding motivator and trainer well recognized in the Behavioral Science Community and lectures nationally at professional conferences and community events on the subjects of Leadership, mental health community development, church growth, spirituality and social work education.
